Initially introduced to Europe in March 2006, the 2012 Nissan Note is still a small, funky little car. The Nissan Note is available in three trims, the base Visia, which costs about $17,500, the Acenta ($20,400), and the N-TEC+ ($21,200). So what do you get for your money?

The Acenta now has 16-inch wheels, which is an improvement over the initial 15-inch wheels with chrome detailing around the front fog lights and the side-view mirrors.

Now the top of the line model, the N-TEC+ has privacy glass, satellite navigation and rear parking sensors. The N-TEC “Connect” system also has a built-in CD/radio, Bluetooth phone connection, USB connection and an iPod gateway. Nissan Pathfinder Concept at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show

Though it’s technically a concept car, the Nissan Pathfinder Concept is about as production-ready as they come. It gives a good idea of what the redesigned Pathfinder will look like when it hits dealerships this fall.

Along with the Toyota 4Runner and Ford Explorer, the Pathfinder was one of the few remaining body-on-frame midsize SUVs in the U.S. market. Ford switched the Explorer to a car-based unibody architecture with its recent redesign, and Nissan follows suit with the Pathfinder Concept. Off-road and towing enthusiasts will likely bemoan the change, but a unibody platform’s advantages — better gas mileage and interior packaging — can’t be discounted when you consider that most SUV owners don’t venture off-road.

Nissan Posts 2013 Pathfinder teaser

DETROIT — The traditionally boxy Nissan Pathfinder is about to be replaced in model year 2013 by a much curvier model, judging from a teaser shot released Monday by Nissan. The 2013 Pathfinder will be previewed as a concept at the upcoming 2012 Detroit Auto Show and is slated to go on sale next fall.

Nissan says the new model “takes all of Pathfinder’s traditional SUV hallmarks and wraps them in a new platform and dramatic new aerodynamic body.”

The 2013 Pathfinder will seat up to seven, with “ample cargo room,” according to Nissan.

The current Pathfinder went on sale in model year 2005. By the time the fourth-generation model arrives next fall at U.S. dealers, the current design will have been in production for eight years.

Nissan Offers Employee Pricing and Delayed Payments to Southern Storm Victims

Nissan Americas is offering employee pricing and delayed finance payments to victims of the recent tornadoes and floods across the southeastern U.S. The latest gesture comes after the company donated $115,000 to the Red Cross to help with the relief efforts.

Qualified buyers, meaning those from the southeast who were left without a mode of transportation after the storms, will be offered Nissans at a price normally reserved for company workers and their immediate families. To be eligible for the program, you have to live in Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Arkansas, Mississippi or Alabama and be able to provide proof of damage to your primary vehicle. Some Nissan Juke Owners to Receive a $400 Check in the Mail

The Nissan Juke is offered in two different drivetrain flavors: front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. When marketing the Juke early on, Nissan listed the gas tank capacity at 13.2-gallons. That’s true… for the front-wheel-drive model, however, the all-wheel-drive Juke has a smaller 11.6-gallon tank. Nissan caught the error and corrected it, but not before approximately 4,000 Juke owners purchased the all-wheel-drive Juke and assumed they had the larger tank.

Not content to simply issue an all-encompassing apology, Nissan is sending out letters to each one of those 4,000 Juke owners (out of the 22,000 folks who have so far purchased a Juke). But there is more than just a letter inside the envelope. Nissan is also including a check for $400. Head over to ConsumerSearch.com to read the letter that Nissan sent, then feel free sound off in the ‘Comments’ regarding the 400 bones.

Do you think this is a cool move by Nissan or would you still be upset as a Juke owner?
